# Google Calendar

> Let assistants list your upcoming events so they can plan around them. Coming soon: creating an event waits for your Approve.

Status: Coming soon

Google Calendar lets an assistant see what is coming up, so it can plan around your meetings, suggest a time, and prepare you for the day.

> [!SOON]
> Google Calendar is Coming soon. The assistants that use it, other than the Coder, are Coming soon too.

## At a glance

## What assistants can do

| Ability | How it runs |
| --- | --- |
| List upcoming events | Reads on its own |
| Create events | Waits for your Approve |

## Setup (when it opens)

1. In Google's developer console, create access for your calendar with the permissions listed below, and copy the access token. If you already set up Gmail or Google Drive, you can reuse that access.
2. Open [Integrations](https://stellarfirm.ai/app/integrations) and pick **Google Calendar**.
3. Paste the token and press **Connect**.
4. Leave event creation off until you want it.

## Permissions

In plain words, the access needs to:

- **Read** your calendar events.
- **Create** events, only if you will allow it.

Read-only access is enough for planning and daily briefs.

## Good to know

- Creating an event is off by default. Even when you allow it, each event waits for your Approve, unless your [house rules](/docs/ceo/house-rules) say otherwise.
- Assistants list events. They do not change or delete the ones you already have.
- Your token stays with your StellarFirm workspace and is never shown back to you. The page shows only that it is connected.

## Prompts

```prompt title="Plan the week"
Product owner, list this week's events and propose a one-hour review. Do not create the event until I Approve.
```

```prompt title="Morning brief"
Accountant, list today's events and tell me which ones need a document from you.
```
